About Dementia Specialists Group

At Dementia Specialists Group, we bring together the expertise of Theresa Bates, a Gerontologist/ Dementia Specialist and Hannah Watterston, a younger onset dementia specialist and clinical nurse, to provide compassionate, person-centred support for individuals living with dementia and their families. We understand that every dementia journey is unique. By combining specialist dementia knowledge, clinical nursing expertise and advice on ageing well, we provide practical guidance, personalised care planning and ongoing support tailored to each person’s needs. We are also passionate about raising awareness and improving support for people living with younger onset dementia, helping individuals and families access the understanding, resources and care they need earlier in their journey. Our goal is simple, to help people live well with dementia while ensuring families never have to navigate it alone.
